Saturday we had a dinner to reveal the sex of the baby to Jed's family. It was a fun way to get everyone involved. I also sent a small package to my family and Jed's sister so they could participate too. At the dinner the groups were pretty evenly split.
So here are the group guesses:
Boys:
Girls:
For dinner we had a buffet of a few of the foods I have been craving this pregnancy.
how cute is my baby's profile!
I also made centerpieces for the tables.
After dinner we also read off a few "old wives' tales" to see what they would predict we would have.
(in case you can't read it, it said girl)
The kids, I think, were the most anxious to find out what we were having. I had Elijah help me reveal it to everyone.
(Nelson was holding the phone so Annie could hear the announcement)
Jed really wanted to pass out candy cigars to a throw back to the 50's, so he got to give everyone chocolate cigars.
Jed's brother, Nelson, was showing me his "pregnant belly" after eating all of the food.
before
after
So Elijah has been right all along and I'm happy to say that even though this one was a little harder for me to get a good feel about it, so was I :)

Cute idea to have a gender reveal party. I love it! You are so creative. Congrats on baby boy!!
