Jed is working hard at school right now. He's studying to get his B.S in Electrical Engineer. He is in the Air Force, in a special program that allows him to get serve active duty to be a student. But his school load makes it a full time job. He spends almost all of his time doing school work. Right now, it's a drag, but he's almost finished. He'll be graduating next May. In June, he'll be off to Officer Training School (OTS) for the summer and will be done September 7th. He's taking Japanese, mainly because he has to take a foreign language, and so he can talk to my grandparents in Japan. He also is into robotics right now. He really wanted to build a robot helper for his senior project, but instead is helping to build a lunar robot that mines moon dust for a NASA competition. He does all the motor and power controls for the system. He also is the executive ward secretary for our ward. So pretty much Jed's really busy and we don't get much time to see him, but it's for a really good cause, and we're all really proud of him and his hard work.
I'm lucky and get to stay home all day with the kids. I really try spend time with the kids playing and teaching them new things. I really try to help Elijah learn his letters, shapes, colors, numbers, words, etc. I also try to think of fun creative ways to do it. It also really helps that Elijah loves learning. Right now I'm trying to be crafty. Having Chloe has brought out a bunch of girliness in me. I'm not very good (yet) at the crafty part, but I'm still trying to learn. Right now I'm also really into baking. My poor family has had to endure all the cakes I keep making and want to make. Having kids really makes me want learn new things to do for them.
