Chloe's Birthday Party

A few weeks ago my mom and brother, Robert and his wife, Kayla came over to Utah over the Martin Luther King weekend. I decided to have Chloe's birthday party that Saturday so they could be here for it too. It was so much fun to have part of my family here. The kids really miss them so they were so excited to have them here. I was also sick since Christmas so I only spent two days on Chloe's birthday party. I had a lot more that I originally planned on doing but just went with the bare minimum for it. I wanted to do pink, yellow, and white flowers, so I tried to have everything those colors. I think it turned out cute. This was also the first party that we were able to have Jed's family attend. All of Jed's family was there, except for his sister, Annie's family, even his grandparents. (I was lame and forgot to take pictures of people) It was a lot of fun having everyone together to help us celebrate Chloe turning two.

We had a brunch for the party. My family helped me prep the food and Jed's dad made his cinnamon rolls (seriously some of the best you'll ever have!)

We served lemonade for drinks.

Chloe was really cute unwrapping her gifts, she even tried to hand them back out and share with her cousins. These were the ones she kept for herself.

I made cupcakes to make a few different in case some of the kids didn't like lemon. The cupcakes and cake were white cake filled with lemon curd and fresh strawberries and frosted with strawberry cream cheese and a white chocolate whipped cream.

Chloe standing by the dessert table while we're singing to her (not that anyone cares about this but me, but she did have on an entirely different outfit on earlier and her hair was done, she just messed it up and Jed changed her into this outfit :P)

Jed really wanted Chloe to cut her own cake... she's been in a chopping vegetable thing lately where she will get a knife out (normally a butter knife) and a vegetable or fruit from the fridge and try to chop it, so Jed thought she'd appreciate getting to cut her own cake.

Chloe seeing her guests out at the end of her party. She was told she had to get shoes on to go outside so put on my heels. (Sad thing is she walks better in them than I do lol)

We really had a lot of fun spending time with the family. Thanks to everyone who came to make it such a great memory and we missed all those who are so far away from us now.
