This semester Jed was invited to join the Engineering Honor's Society (Tau Beta Pi). It's the second or third oldest honor's society in this country. They only take the top 12% of the school. I'm really proud of him and all of his hard work. It's also nice that he's getting some recognition for it, besides from me, even though he doesn't think it's that big of a deal. On top of working hard and long hours for all of his classes, keeping up with his busy calling for church, and finding a little bit of time to spend with us, he's also been doing things for the honor's society this semester.
Saturday was their initiation, so Jed is now officially a member!
Jed said taking pictures of this sort of things was for little kids, so this is what they gave him at his initiation. (it's a miniature of the bent he had to shine for them)
I'm so proud of him!!
